I googled my lj name because Vikram told me to. And I found this… - What if the noise is nothing but sound?

I googled my lj name because Vikram told me to. And I found this community that I had forgotten about.

So what's everybody reading these days? I just finished Six Characters in Search of an Author by Luigi Pirandello. It's a play I read for my European Existentialist Literature class, which I'm taking purely because I miss englishy classes and being introduced to good books, and isn't fulfilling any requirement at all. It was a good move. Anyway, the play is cool! A quick and sort of mind-bendy read, if you want one. It made me wish I had pursued theater in college so I could work with really philosophically challenging scripts, not just the high school fair. Apparently when it was first performed there was so much confusion the audience rioted.

Actually it's all scripts lately, as the next thing I'm reading for that class is No Exit again (yaaaay). And last night I read selections of Twelfth Night and Henry IV with Mario in preparation for this business: http://villageshakes.com/

I actually saw Six Characters in Search of an Author here at State in February. Quite good. I agree with the mind bendy thing. It was a bit strange to understand.
